The Green Park is situated midway betweeen Youghal's blue flag beaches and the heritage town itself. It was originally built as a memorial to those involved in the 1798 Rising.

On either side of the central path there are green lawns and immaculate flower beds. Surrounding the park on the Youghal Bay sides is a walkway with views towards Capel Island and along the Blackwater Estuary.
